passion.

I have been an active member of my local Lions Club for over 10 years, so the idea of charitable work seemed like a noble and worthwhile endeavor.  Couple that with having an extensive work and academic background in technology and information systems that the idea for Gadgets For Good started to form.  What if I could take donated computers, laptops, tablets, phones, printer cartridges, etc., and refurbish them for donating to schools, children’s hospitals, shelters, military groups, needy families, and other worthy causes?  In addition, what if we could collaborate with schools and other local groups to help in the collection and restoration process?  This would teach students about the value of reusing technology and importance of community service.  This is exactly our mission at Gadgets For Good.

The collection process consists of new and used electronics (see our donation page) as well as some fun, local fundraisers to help us raise money to organize events and cover administrative costs.  With that said, I hope you will consider donating your electronics, a  small monetary gift, or your time to our wonderful cause.  Welcome to Gadgets For Good, we hope you will support our mission.
